Detailing

Detailing
  • Detailing from 3D     Model
  • Detailing from 2D    Assembly drawing
  • Modification in    existing drawings
  • Detailing Check     Lists
  • MDT/ Inventor as     fast & easy     detailing tools
  • Detailing bridges the gap between the designing and the manufacturing. The design has to be converted into a 2D manufacturing drawing that is specific to a manufacturing set-up.

    The Objective

To provide our customers, the price performance advantage in detailing services.

    The Activity

    • Detailing from a 3D Model: Where 2D manufacturing drawings are generated within the modeling software
    • Detailing from 2D Assembly drawings: Where 2D manufacturing drawings for individual components are generated from 2D assembly drawings
    • Modifications in the existing drawings: Where exiting drawing requires modifications for functional improvements

    The Expertise

    • Detailing from 3D models &/or 2D assemblies
    • Various Drawing Standards such as ANSI, ISI etc
    • Capability to adjust to a specific manufacturing standard
    • Capability to handle surface roughness, tolerances, materials and manufacturing aspects of the drawing

    The Technology

We employ Autodesk technologies i.e. Mechanical Desktop/ Inventor (Autodesk Inventor Series). Application of different technologies can be worked out depending upon the work volume.

    The Quality Initiative

In the first assignment, we define the quality check lists suited to that type of work. The lists are augmented with our Quality Manual. The Quality Team checks for the quality at two levels namely, a peer review and a management review.
